Have you had swimming lesson but still unable to swim very well?

Well, I’m going to point out 6 steps of how to run your swimming lessons correctly. What I need you to do is to follow step by step, do not skip any step because swimming is about body coordination. You don’t just depends on your hand or leg to swim but most importantly your body coordination. I will use freestyle as a training style in this article.

Step #1 - Do Your Stretching Before Entering the Pool

Stretch before you swim is very important. It helps to warm all your muscles up so that you will not feel tired or body ache after the swim. It also prevents you from getting muscle cramp during the swim. A friend of mine, Leon, who is a Malaysia Johor State Swimmer will know this very well. He used to swim without stretching, and sprint all the way when he enters the pool. He changed his mind after losing in a swim event. He is also suffering from bad muscle cramps every time he swim now. Even though he did his stretching well now, he will still suffer from muscle cramp once in a while.

Step #2 - Warm Up Before Training

Swim at least 200 meters (if you can) with your normal swim speed before proceed to your training. Kick and Pull at the same time and maintain the speed. If you feel good about it, you may swim another 200 meters until you feel yourself warm. Warming up yourself also prevents you from getting muscle cramps and bone fracture.

Step #3 - Train Your Leg Muscle By Kicking The Water With A Kickboard

Kickboard is also known as swimboard or floatboard. If you do not have a kickboard, you may want to consider to buy one. Purchase it from either sports equipment retailer or online sports shop. Hold the board with your two arms straight and stretch to the front. Keep your head above the water and looking forward. Keep your body straight all the way while doing this exercise. Do not put the board underneath your body or hug the board as your leg muscles will start to be “lazy”. Keep on kicking and maintain a certain speed. Kick the water for an approximately 500meters before you stop for a rest. If you are a beginner to this, I would suggest you do only a set because you wouldn’t want to end up with “weak leg” the next day. For intermediate or advance swimmer, I would suggest you to go for at least 3 sets of 500 meters leg kicking if possible.

Step #4 - Train Your Hand Stroke With Swim Paddles And Kickboard

Gear up with your swim paddles on one hand and hold a kickboard on the other hand. Now I want you to pull using only one hand to pull the water, you may use your leg to kick as well. Now I want you to start with your hand straight pointing forward. Pull and “catch” the water toward and body and push it all the way back to your leg. You would now ask me where is the maximum length I should push to? The answer push as far as possible with your body straight. The best is if you can touch your thigh with your thumb. Next, lift up your hand into the sky with your elbow bend a “L” shape and finger pointing into the water. Now, enter the water with your middle finger first and stretch your arm forward as far as possible once your hand get into the water. Swim for at least 500 meters before you change to another hand. Repeat the same thing on the other hand.

Step #5 - Body Coordination

Now this is the critical part where you can get a gracefully stroke. While doing the handpulling and leg kicking together, you must have this in mind, “Keep your lower body straight while you kick, do not turn it to left or right”. As for your hand, you only require to turn slightly to your left or right when you breath in the fresh air. While breathing in the air, maintain your finger level 2 inches above the air and point your elbow up in the sky. Swim slowly if you are not use to it.

Step #6 - Warm Down

Finally, remember to do your warm down part so that you will not feel tired after the swim. Do not take swimming as a shower. Remember to take your shower as soon as possible after the swim to clean away the chlorin. Chlorins are harmful to our skin and hair.

Good luck and have a good swim.

It all started with Jane Fonda. She started an industry with a simple video tape that included a 30 minute beginners program followed by a 60 minute full workout. For Jane it formed the nucleus of an empire that included books, audio recordings and fitness salons that are still in existence today. More importantly, capitalizing on Jane’s success, her workout tapes were followed quickly by everybody with a cut chiseled physique or a machine to help you work off those extra pounds and bring out those abs which quite unbelievably is bigger today than it was yesterday but not as big as it will be tomorrow.

Like they say in the record biz, the hits just keep on coming. Everybody has jumped into the market through the years: Chuck Norris, Lou Ferrigno aka The Hulk from the TV show, even Governor Arnold tried his hand at it. Models, celebrities and just plain folks with a machine have created exercise infomercials and you can count on one thing – more are coming soon to a TV channel in your house.

There’s Pilates, aerobics, toning, step dynamics, yoga, stretch, even specialty exercise tapes for pregnant women, women who have just given birth, women who are thinking about getting pregnant, kids, seniors – and that’s only a small fraction of what is available. Right now there are over 700 titles currently available and at one time or another all of them were presented to the public as an infomercial.

Some exercise infomercials utilized a new form of advertising called the hybrid infomercial. In the hybrid infomercial the product is available immediately as a direct response item and at the same time the item is available in retail stores. Here the infomercial is serving a dual purpose – to make a profit for the manufacturer immediately with credit card phone orders and by creating a brand name identity for the product available in the retail marketplace. With so much product available in today’s infomercial exercise tape market, it’s difficult for any one tape or exercise machine to make a profit for its manufacturer. By utilizing the incredible power of infomercials to reach a wide public base and selling them as a direct response item and a retail item simultaneously, manufacturers have learned how to profit from infomercials even though the market may be oversaturated.

Your child’s bedroom should be a safe haven, a place where fun flows along with creativity and productive thoughts. Lighting a room with so many purposes can be challenging. However before you start buying and putting the lights in their room, wait and spend some time in understanding your child’s needs, personality and other small things. Children’s have slightly different lighting needs from us, adults. Also you should take decorating your child’s room as a great opportunity to illustrate off your playful side, do some personal bonding, and allow your children to be creative. Use your as many ideas and imaginations for decorating but, please keep one thing in mind, it should reflect your child’s personality and needs, not yours where we as parents make a mistake.

Understand the basics

Planning lighting needs for your child’s room is a great opportunity for you to show off your playful side, do some personal bonding, and will also allow your children to be creative. Use all your imaginative ideas in the process but the important thing to remember here is it should reflect your child’s personality, not yours. Talk to your child while making them part of your design work. Be interactive and if needed take them along with you while buying the lighting things. In any kid room you need to consider three types of lighting; ambient light which fills the whole room, Task lighting is the kind of lighting that brightens a particular area and finally accent lighting that adds a novelty touch to your child’s room.

The key factors to consider

Your kid’s age, whether a baby, early school years or teenagers. Age makes real difference in selecting and adjusting proper lighting ideas. As your child matures as do their rooms lighting needs. For example, babies need low-level lighting so you can see during those frequent trips in the night to feed, change and comfort. As you will spend a considerable amount of time in your baby’s room it’s important that you have a ceiling mounted bedroom light with a dimmer if possible would be ideal since it allows you to brighten the room when required and then lower the light at bedtime.

Also a kid room decorative lamp or two at proper light that gives off sufficient light is important when it coming to changing your baby or reading stories. Instead of kid lamps, one can also opt for a track lighting which are quiet adjustable to lighten while changing babies nappies or reading bed time stories. Also track lighting can be adjusted, rotated to specific areas as the child grows. Older, school going children and teenagers may have slightly different lighting needs. For example, some older children may get scared in the night if the room is dark, which in that case installing a night light opposite corner of the room and not shining in your child’s face to make them sleep is a good idea. Also growing children needs a balance of natural light and artificial lighting so operable skylights and windows will add charm to the room.

Your child’s personality and interests will also play a substantial role in understanding the lighting needs. If it is a small baby, try to understand what kind of interests or personality they can have by seeing their reaction on showing or displaying certain things. For example, babies will react very happily or enjoys certain types of pictures or colours or any objects, keep this in mind while planning the lighting. Like some babies may enjoy Airplane or other objects around a central ceiling fixture or pendant light. Bright red balloon wall light may also entertain your small ones. Generally, all most kids small or growing, love bright colors and novelty items like cartoon characters or any other funny animal characters.

Some children’s may like certain colours which in that case colorful catchy lights can be a good option. Well lighting your child’s room should co-ordinate with the overall decor but having that one wild lighting idea which excites your boy or girl is a must. Choose atleast one novelty theme to add a vibrant mood to your child room that compliments their hobbies and personality. Afterwards try to understand what kind of activities will be taking place in the room. Like sleeping, doing home work, entertainment, computer activities and many more such things. Parents should select task lighting that is most conducive to the different activities children pursue in their room. This will make the job of selecting and fixing task lighting to brighten up specific area used for an activity much easier.

If your child has a computer in the room, you’ll want to ensure a ambient soothing computer place. The trick here is to use task lighting to illuminate what is on the monitor and use an ambient light source to eliminate any contrast. If your child does all their home work on a desk table, try for safe table lamp or the best wall lights that lines up with your child’s shoulder when sitting up ready to read. Lighting that comes from behind her shoulder and slightly to the side will be the best for their eyes with out causing any damage to their vision. If your child likes to read in bed consider an adjustable kid room lamp or track lighting rotated to the bedpost. Reading will become more tempting to your child if you make the experience as comfortable as possible. If your children watch television in their rooms, don’t let them watch it in total darkness. It’s better for their eyes to use low-level light, either from a dimmed light or from a side light with the beam directed at the ceiling.

Never forget the safety of your children

While planning and designing your child’s room lighting needs, there are safety issues to consider first. The safest kinds of lighting fixtures to use in your child’s room are central ceiling fixtures, child wall lights and track lighting. The advantage here is that these types of fixtures won’t get damaged if your kids start playing around the room. Try to keep any light sources out of your child’s reach is always a good way to prevent light burns. In any case if you can’t avoid it then any light that their little hands can reach should preferably be fitted with compact fluorescent bulbs which are cool to touch Use track lighting or wall lights instead of table lamps since they always get knocked over and believe us, always us. When installing electrical wall socket, see that there are no loose cords hanging around and cover the empty sockets to ensure prying fingers can’t put it inside. Also avoid low pendant lights. They can be a hazard during pillow fights or when jumping on the bed.

Using the above provided information along with your imagination you can do wonders to your children’s room lighting and the way it will nurture their personality. Just remember, have fun and make it a team work with your child as your expert partner.

I firmly believe that the window washing business has a tremendous amount of advantages over other businesses.

I’ve been in a number of businesses as many of you probably have, and when making the comparisons between window washing and some
of the other lame businesses out there, you have to admit that window washing comes up smelling like roses.

BUT…us window washers will still face challenges.

And I’m not talking about the challenge of cleaning a window. Anybody can get a window clean with a little elbow grease and the proper tools.

No, I’m referring to the ability to clean windows and market your business at the same time. This is the ultimate juggling act.

If you stop marketing your business for any length of time, it’s only a matter of time before calls from interested prospects dry up, and consequently, so does your calender.

I saw it happen very recently with a guy who had a good 3 weeks of window cleaning jobs lined up. He used every marketing
technique outlined in my manual How to Start Your Own Residential Window Washing Business. He lined up all kinds of jobs. But then he decided to focus his attention only to window cleaning, not to marketing. Oops.

To make a long story short, after that 3 week spurt of business, he woke up one day to find no customers on his calender, so he essentially had to start over. Now of course, he’ll have those customers to come back to again and again on a repeat basis, but I’m talking about right now having gaps on the schedule which really shouldn’t be there.

And it’s harder and more time consuming to start over then it is to just keep the gravy train rolling.

Let me explain with a couple of stories.

–Master motivator Zig Zigler talked about “starting over” in one of his speeches I heard recently. He used the analogy of one of those old fashioned Wells you may be familiar with.

These types of Wells have big ‘ole handles you need to crank in order to draw water from the Well.

When first wanting water, you have to really pump fast and furious. But once you have a constant stream of water coming out, then it just takes a little pressure on the pump handle to keep it going. The hard work was already done at the beginning. BUT…don’t stop. Because the water will go all the way to the
bottom if you do, and you’d have to start all over again with serious pumping action.

–The people who I’ve helped get into the window washing business have heard me talk about when I was in the Insurance business. One of the things I used to do at the beginning of my insurance career was actually shut down my marketing efforts during Thanksgiving week and not crank it up again until after the last college football bowl game was played at the beginning of January.

I just sat around for six or seven weeks or so getting fat on all the Holiday goodies, and alhough it was great just kicking back
on my little mini-vacation, come the beginning of January, I had to start all over again generating interest, making phone calls,
following up, setting appointments, etc.

Which means that I didn’t see the fruits of January’s labor until March or so as far as having a full calender of appointments again and banking commissions.

I mention the above couple of stories just to illustrate a point, and that is simply that we can’t back off or let up. Because if we do, we could find ourselves with some unwanted vacancies on our schedule. And this is especially true if you’re relatively new to the window cleaning biz.

But that’s the challenge. Like the person above who had 3 weeks of window washing jobs. How in the world do you wash windows and
still market your biz?

The short answer to this is that we need to learn to prioritize and incorporate effective time management principles.

I know, I know. Pretty elementary stuff here, but it really is critical to master them.

One of my most successful students is a guy that plans his entire day around a 2 hour marketing window where he’ll distribute flyers, coordinate a postcard campaign, talk to other service
businesses, talk to realtors, talk to property managers, talk to builders, visit commercial storefronts, or any number of other things on the marketing agenda.

Time doesn’t permit everything above to be done within that two hour time frame obviously, but he’ll pick one, maybe two strategies he wants to use that day, and then do ‘em.

The 2 hours may be at the beginning of the day or the end of the day, or it may be one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon. That doesn’t matter. What does matter is that he’ll take ACTION and expose his marketing message for 2 hours each day to prospects.

Mike truly understands that we have no business without customers, so he sits down at night and jots down the next day’s marketing goals on a “to do” list. This is as basic as it gets, but hey…it works.

And this is confirmed when he calls and we talk about the fact that prospects are calling (many times as we’re talking, we’ll be interrupted a couple of times by his phone ringing) and his calender is filled up with window washing jobs.

By doing this, and committing to it on paper, the challenge of finding prospects is null and void. Like my ‘ole sales manager used to say, “if you talk to enough people, you’ve got to make sales”.

In my case, I used to take one whole day and part of another to do what Mike does every day.

I generally preferred to do my window washing estimating on Friday, and Friday morning was when my business breakfast was held where business owners got together and supported each other with leads and referrals.

Since I figured I was already dressed up in nice company clothes (polo shirt/dockers) instead of my window washing work clothes,
I figured I may as well make that my main marketing day, so I mapped out a schedule on Thursday night of who to see and talk to
on Friday in addition to the estimates I was scheduled to do.

That doesn’t mean I didn’t do any marketing during the week. Postcards were a big part of my biz, so if I was ready for a mailing, there was always time during the week to place a 5 minute phone call to my direct mail house and tell Dick to send
out a mailing to zone such and such.

And Saturday morning was pretty much reserved for me to go out with 2 to 4 neighborhood kids and blanket subdivisions with flyers.

As an example of what you could do, if you’re scheduling a job, schedule it at 10 or 11 and then head out at 9:00 to:

–introduce yourself to 5 realtors and give them your business card.
–quickly drop off 25 flyers to commercial storefronts. In/out/next.
–visit 3 other service businesses to see if they would be interested in getting together to promote each of your businesses. (I know of one guy who formed his own leads type of organization since there were none in his town)

And then the next day, jot down other things you can do, or repeat the above. At the end of the week, you’ll not only feel like you accomplished something, but more importantly, you’ll be creating tremendous awareness for your company, which of course, leads to more phone calls, more business, and more moolah in your pocket!

The above is not hard, and when looked at daily, they’re just little things, but it’s the little things you do every single day
that will determine your ultimate success, not the one big thing that we might do every 2 or 3 weeks.

Now the good news is that over time, we can all drastically decrease our marketing “to do” lists.

The first two years of my business was hustle, bustle, hustle bustle. Every form of marketing that could be used was used. After about two years though, guess what? The pump was primed
hard enough during the early stages, I then just had to apply a tiny bit of continuous marketing (it never can stop completely), kick back, get the phone calls, fill up the calender, and
coordinate my window washing crews. All the fun stuff.

Just remember that this is a marathon, not a sprint. An initial burst of massive action is excellent because it generates immediate dollars and gets you entrenched into the biz, but mark-
eting needs to be sustained over time if you’re looking for long term success.

Experts have said that once we do something for 21 days, it becomes a habit. I don’t know about the 21 days part, but I do know if we do something long enough, it’ll simply become second nature to us.

So…there are many challenging pieces to the window washing business. Prioritize the implementation of those pieces by creating yourself a simple “to do” list (Hint-place marketing at the top), incorporate time management into making that list work, and repeat on a regular basis.

Lather

Rinse

Repeat

If you do that, then the snowball of window washing customers that I refer to in my manual will gather up speed. And when that starts to happen, you may as well get out of the way because there ain’t nothing you can do to stop it. :o)

To your window washing success,

If you become incapacitated how can you be sure that your healthcare decisions will be honored? If you plan now, with the help of a living will (advance directive) you can make your healthcare decisions known in advance in case you become incapacitated.

Washington State law enables the following people to make healthcare decisions for you should you lose the ability to communicate and make decisions. A guardian with healthcare decision-making authority, if appointed; The person appointed in your durable power of attorney with healthcare decision-making authority; Your spouse; Your adult children; Your parents; and your adult brothers and sisters.

In Washington State once your living will (advance directive) is registered, you are registered for life. After you register, annually you’ll receive an update form so that your information will always be current. This service is provided free of charge.

After your living will form is registered, you will receive a letter by mail from the U.S. Living Will Registry that contains labels to attach to your driver’s license and insurance card. These labels state that you are registered with the U.S. Living Will Registry. As soon as you’re registered your documents and emergency contact information is available to healthcare providers all over the country. This is to ensure your wishes are available wherever and whenever they are needed.

Once your done registering the living will you’ll want to keep the documents in an accessible place for safekeeping. You may also want to consider planning your estate by filing a last will form. A last will gives you the ability to make advanced arrangements for the distribution of your estate in the event of your death.

Try an uncomplicated thought, youngsters who are young as well as babies periodically have a surgery for ventilation tubes slipped in into their ears. This operation is usually for chronic ear infections. As the children get older, their hearing appears to be at a normal stage.

Experienced doctors agree, toddlers who have a more serious ear disease could require multiple procedures. Others may need different kinds of ear surgical process.

More kids travel to the doctor for ear infection than any other childhood diseases. Both types of ear infections, those containing fluid and those that do not, are very ordinary for the insertion of ventilation tubes. This is one of the most regular types of minor surgery, draining the ear and sticking in the ventilation tube.

One of the best benefits from this surgical operation id the instant improvement of hearing. Professional counselors say, this in turn can help to cease educational and developmental outcomes.

After extensive research on over 200 toddlers, it was regulated that the bulk of the tikes with ear troubles had the hearing cured. A small percentage of abnormal outcomes were accounted when the infant with an ear infection has fluids or more than three tube insertions were involved.

The research revealed that if the tube insertions were performed at an early stage in the child’s life, it is a safe and useful treatment. Long-term follow-ups are expected to make sure the ear has properly mended. Parents need to keep this in mind when there are ear infection subjects.

Before you hire an organizer you still need to organize before they show up!

Do you have a pile of papers in one corner and another pile of something else in another room of the house?

Don’t pay an organizer to clean for you, they organize. Once they know what you want to keep and what to throw out, only then can they come in and do their job.

The first thing they will tell you is to purge anyway. So save your money on purging and call them in when you are done.

20 Minutes a Room

Even the most unmotivated and the busiest of people can invest 20 minutes to devote to clutter or just about anything else.

Think about other skills that you practice: learning to play a musical instrument, singing, balancing a check book, writing, enjoying a book, writing thank you cards, memorizing facts for a quiz, exercising…all in 20 minutes a day.

It only takes me 20 minutes to clean my entire kitchen, a sink full of dishes included! Okay it’s a small kitchen (same with the bathroom) but knowing it takes little time is more encouraging then having the mindset that it will take forever.

When I really, really don’t feel like cleaning I use a timer and set it for 20 minutes. If it were a larger endeavor if I didn’t want to continue after 20 minutes, I could walk away if I wished. Plenty was done in that short time slot and the progress is better than it was before!

One Thing at a Time

This rule has literally changed my life! The world will have you running around thinking you have to be super person and multi-task to no end.

Multi-tasks done in bad form:

*Doing almost anything while talking on a cell phone.

Examples: having lunch with a friend, on a date or a job interview! While driving a car or standing in line.

*Surfing the web and trying to cook at the same time. Yes, I’m guilty. Can you say charcoal?

*Watching TV while having a conversation with someone on the phone or in the room.

*Having your kids do their homework while their friends are hanging around.

*Over booking or trying to squeeze in last minute errands when you know you have somewhere important to be at a certain time.

Now you can see where it is more useful to cook your food before or after you read or write while online. You will not starve! When you were younger did you find it productive to do homework while watching TV? Of course you could try to justify it. I’m sure you don’t think your kids are quite as capable right?

These are just some common examples. Not only is multi-tasking unproductive it can be irritating to other people as well. Think of some times where you were annoyed by someone multi-tasking.

20 Minutes to Make a To-Do-List

That’s all it takes to decide what your priorities are for the day. I learned to make a routine watching the Supernanny. She makes out a schedule to give the family a framework to go by. You don’t need to have kids to benefit from a routine. Who couldn’t use more structure in their lives?

How long do you think it will take to map out an effective routine? Not long. 20 minutes or so…

Look at your day as is and fill in the time slots; 7am wake up/shower, 7:30 coffee/breakfast, 8am leave for work, etc.

After breakfast while enjoying your coffee can you squeeze in and make out a to-do-list? Look at your schedule, maybe you need to make your list the night before.

How do you work or do a to-do-list? Don’t think this is a silly question, some people don’t know.

What do you need to do for the day that does not fit into your routine? List at least five things you need to do, finish them then cross them off the list. If you don’t do all of them on that day, carry them over to the next. It’s that easy and that is the secret of successful people. Looking at the priorities for the day, accomplishing them and then crossing them off the list.

See how easy that is?

What does a to-do-list have to with 20 minutes?

Looking at what needs to be done it may only take 20 minutes or less to mail important documents or packages, take a walk, make a phone call to the bank, read a section of a manual that you need to learn something from, and back to our original point 20 minutes to take care of some much un-needed clutter.

The nice thing about the 20 minute rule is you only have to do 20 minutes and then you are done. If you are overly ambitious or find that you are into the flow of things keep going either another 20 minutes, until you don’t feel like doing it anymore or until the task is done!

It only took me 20 minutes to write this article. I think I got a lot done!

Summary:

-Most daunting tasks only require 20 minutes of work.

-If they take more time break them up to either doing them the next day or later in the day.

-Buy a timer to do at least the required 20 minutes of any task, especially if you are not looking forward to it.

-Look at your day as is to see what kind of time you have available to you.

-Start making to-do-list so you know when and where you have 20 minutes to spare.

-List your top five priorities, accomplish them and cross them off the list.

-If you need more time to finish some tasks on your list, carry them over the the next. Repeat steps 2 and 3.

-DO ONE THING AT A TIME.

The liver is an important organ in the body related to synthesis of various proteins, storage of glucose, certain vitamins and metabolism of carbohydrate, protein and fats and detoxification of certain unwanted chemicals in the body.

The liver is a reddish brown wedge shaped organ occupying the right upper quadrant of the abdomen called the right hypochondrium. It extends into the upper middle quadrant called the epigastrium and the left upper quadrant called the left hypochondrium.

The liver is anatomically divided in to right and left lobe by the falcifiform ligament and the ligamentum venosum.

The liver is functionally divided in to right and left lobes by the right and the left hepatic ducts.

Furthermore, the liver is also divided in to eight functional lobes by the 8 branches of the hepatic artery.

The liver is covered by two layers of a smooth material called the peritoneum all over its surface, except a small portion on the superior surface on its back called “Bare area of Liver.” This covering is called the Glisson’s capsule. This covering is reflected onto the neighboring structures forming different structures called

*Falciform ligament

*Coronary ligaments

*Triangular ligaments

*Lesser omentum

The liver is surrounded by a number of other important organs, including the

*Stomach

*Pancreas

*Large intestine

*Small intestine

*Diaphragm

*Gall bladder

Food is absorbed and taken to liver where it is either stored or metabolized into other products for utilization by the body. Some of the important functions of liver are

*Storage of glucose in a form called glycogen

*Synthesis of proteins like albumin, blood clotting factors

*Mobilization and degradation of fats and cholesterol

*Mobilization of protein to other parts of the body

*Degradation and detoxification of toxic products like ammonia in to urea (Liver is sometimes called the “Urea Plant”)

*Degradation of drugs

*Degradation of hemoglobin in to bilirubin

*Synthesis of bile and bile salts

*Storage of certain vitamins like Vitamin A

Liver can be affected by a number of viruses, bacteria, drugs, diseases–some of which can be life threatening. For more information on these, visit www.myliver.biz

Honey is recognized for its nutritional as well as medicinal value. It has been used since ancient times both as a food and as a medicine. Apiculture, the practice of beekeeping to produce honey, dates back to at least 700 B.C. The high quality natural honey can be distinguished by its fragrance and taste. However, its benefits greatly depend on its quality.

The advantage of this yellowish golden liquid is that it not only prevents infections from occurring, it actually accelerates skin healing. Since the sugar in it absorbs water, it helps to trap some of the moisture so that the bacteria and other microbes can’t grow as easily as in other food.

This miracle product contains vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, and is a wonderful beauty aid that nourishes the skin and the hair.

It was already known that this natural sweetener contained varying levels of antioxidants, with dark honey having more than light. Darker ones have more nutrients than light ones. Vitamin and mineral content depend on the floral source of the honey.

It is good food preservative. While baking cakes by replacing it with sugar, they will stay fresher longer due to natural antibiotics as honey retains moisture. It can be a good substitute for sugar in our drinks and food.

Another quality of honey is that, when it is compared with the same amount of sugar, it gives 40% less calories to the body. Although it gives great energy to the body, it does not add weight.

When accompanied by mild water, honey diffuses into the bloodstream in 7 minutes. Its free sugar molecules make the brain function better since the brain is the largest consumer of sugar, thus, reduces fatigue.

It improves appetite in children suffering from conditions of Appetite loss. In cases of Insomnia, one teaspoon full mixed in lukewarm water or milk and drunk before going to bed helps in getting sound sleep.

The main uses of honey are in cooking, baking, as a spread on breads, and as an addition to various beverages such as tea and as a sweetener in commercial beverages.

Raw honey contains many vitamins such as B1, B2, C, B6, B5, and B3 along with several minerals including calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphate, potassium, sodium chlorine, and sulfur. It also contains copper, iodine, zinc, and several kinds of hormones. All these are required by human body in some quantity.

Thus, honey is a magical liquid that has indefinite shelf-life and adapts to all cooking processes. There are enormous benefits associated with it. It takes care of your skin, improves appetite, accelerates skin healing and increases antioxidant level.
