The Tampa Bay real estate market was predicted by Money Magazine in a recent article to be one of the strongest in the United States in the following year. Additionally, with strong population and economic growth and a fabulous climate, Tampa Bay is a wonderful place to live. This prediction is consistent with a recent survey conducted by Fiserv Lending Solutions, which forecast a 2.8% rise in housing prices in the Tampa Bay real estate market in 2006. Florida as a whole is enjoying a rise in real estate property prices, which promises to be a long term trend. There are many reasons for this. Demand for real estate in Florida is increasing, most notably in its residential and commercial real estate markets. Homes are being bought for a variety of reasons. European and American holiday makers see Florida as an ultimate summer holiday location. People flock to the area each summer.
The growth in visitors is due to Florida’s many attractions, many of which are around Tampa Bay. And, if anything, this yearly influx is set to boost again as the Super Bowl comes to Tampa in 2009. This will be the fourth Super Bowl to be held in Tampa. This has been proven to have a dramatic effect on the area’s prosperity.
